The Hague System for the International Registration of Industrial Designs is available to applicants who are nationals of countries that are party to the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs (Hague Agreement). Trinidad and Tobago is not yet a party to the Hague Agreement but Trinbagonians who retain dual citizenship with countries that are party to the Hague Agreement can avail themselves of this option. The list of countries that are party to the Geneva Act (1999) of Hague Agreement is found by clicking here. A powerpoint presentation is also available by clicking here. Finally, WIPO provided a video with more information that can be accessed here.
The electronic filing interface for the Hague System is available via eHague. For technical support, please contact us at info@ipo.gov.tt
