Ms. Karen Sukha

Karen Sukha is a Senior Business Development Officer at Caribbean Industrial Research Institute (CARIRI) and has been working with the Institute for the past eight years.   She is currently working in the IGAP program as an Innovation agent, helping private sector companies to identify innovation gaps and interventions to improve innovation within the company.

She is also part of CARIRI´s Business Incubator where she facilitates entrepreneurship training and provides one on one coaching to early-stage entrepreneurs.  Karen is also involved in CARIRI´s Idea Advisory Service which helps individuals and companies to take their innovative ideas to commercialisation. She has received training from the Danish Technological Institute in Innovation Gap Analysis and Idea Advisory Services.  In addition, she has completed WIPO intellectual property courses on Patents, Trademarks, Industrial designs and Geographical Indications and Intellectual Property Management.
