Mr. Kavish Seetahal
Kavish Seetahal, Ph.D., M.A., L.E.C. (Roll of Honor), LL.B. (Hons), has been an Attorney-at-Law in Trinidad and Tobago since 2011. He is currently the Deputy Controller of the Trinidad and Tobago Intellectual Property Office (TTIPO), the
Ministry of Legal Affairs charged with (among other duties) the management of the legislative portfolio and the Trade Marks Unit including the Madrid Protocol Unit of the TTIPO. Kavish has years of experience in both the public and private sectors having attained his Ph.D. in the field of Aid and Development. He is currently pursuing research regarding the intersection between development and intellectual property, especially assisting small and medium enterprises in their efforts.
