Ms. Terita Kalloo

Terita Kalloo is an Attorney at Law specializing in the field of Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law. Terita, a national scholar, studied Law at the University of the West Indies where she obtained a Bachelor of Laws with Honours. Terita also attended the Hugh Wooding Law School where she obtained her Legal Education Certificate and graduated on the Principal’s Roll of Honour.

Terita worked at the Ministry of the Attorney General and Legal Affairs and at the Intellectual Property Office of Trinidad and Tobago as legal counsel before entering private practice. She currently runs a boutique intellectual property law practice, Terita Kalloo Law. As part of her law practice, Terita hosts an online Pro-Bono IP Clinic.

Terita has participated in various training courses provided by the World Intellectual Property Organization on Trademarks, Patents, Copyright and IP Management. In 2017, Terita was awarded an Advanced International Certificate in IP Asset Management for Business Success in Seoul, South Korea. Terita is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property Law and Management at the University of Strasbourg, France.
